Eagle vs. Falcon Follow Up

Wowie, so where did all the eagle's fans go?!! With an overwhelming 8 to 4 vote, this seems to be the year of the Falcon!

Last time I posed this question, I was in shock to find the eagle outnumbered the falcon (albeit by a small margin) in popularity. Actually, prior to even thinking of asking, I believed it to be a no-brainer the falcon was the sure winner. Then when I saw the unexpected results, I did a bit of homework on the two predators, and began to find myself leaning toward the side of the eagle--in big part due to this wonderful graphic a la National Geographic.com:

And finally, one more random fact: The largest eagle's nest ever found was 9.5' wide, 20' high, and weighed over 2 TONS.
